What is the difference between the Daylight and Warm White variants?
The difference is the light color and spectrum.

Most grow lights hang overhead and only reach the top leaves. The Sken stands 4 feet tall with vertical side lighting that covers the entire height of your plant. From the lowest leaves near the soil to the newest growth at the top, everything gets light. It is perfect for fiddle leaf figs, palms, bird of paradise, rubber plants, and large monsteras.
How bright is this light? Will it be too bright for my living room?
It is bright enough to grow plants, but designed to be pleasant to live with.
The Daylight variant produces 170 μmol/m²/s at 7.9 inches, which is serious growing power. However, the light itself is clean and natural looking, not harsh or glaring. The Warm White variant is even softer on the eyes while still delivering 138 μmol/m²/s. Both are designed to blend into your living space, not dominate it.
How do I assemble the Sken? Do I need tools?
No tools needed. Assembly takes just a few minutes.
The Sken is designed for simple, tool free setup. You simply connect the light to the tripod stand, and it clicks into place. Plug the cord into the wall, and you are ready to grow. If the base ever feels loose, an included hex wrench lets you tighten the screws easily, but no tools are required for initial assembly.
What is the foot switch for?
The foot switch lets you turn the light on and off without bending down.

How many plants can one Sken light?
One Sken can light a small collection of plants around it.
Because the light is vertical and casts light sideways, it illuminates plants in a circle around the stand. You can place several medium to large pots around the base, and they will all receive beneficial light. For a dense jungle of many plants, you may want multiple lights, but for most home collections, one Sken covers a beautiful corner beautifully.
What is PPFD and why does it matter?
PPFD measures how much usable light actually reaches your plant.
Think of it as the plant's food delivery. Higher PPFD means more photosynthetically active light landing on the leaves. At 7.9 inches, the Daylight variant delivers 170 μmol/m²/s, and the Warm White delivers 138 μμmol/m²/s. Both are excellent intensities for supporting healthy growth, strong stems, and vibrant foliage.
Is the stand adjustable? Can I make it shorter?
The stand is fixed at 4 feet and is not adjustable in height.
It is designed specifically to provide vertical coverage for tall plants. However, because the light is separate from the stand, you could potentially mount the light on a different surface or at a different height if needed, but the included stand is intended for full height use.
What is the base diameter? Is it stable?
The base is 6.5 inches wide and provides excellent stability.
