We want you to love your Hydro Plant product as much as we do. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer an easy 7-day return policy.

Our 7-Day Return Policy

At HydroPlant, your satisfaction matters. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery for most products.

Return Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 7 days of the delivery date
  • Unused and in the same condition you received it
  • In original packaging with all accessories, manuals, parts, and components included
  • Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
  • No signs of installation, use, damage, or wear

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • E-gift cards (click here for full e-gift cards policy)
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or normal wear and tear
  • Products returned after the 7-day return window
  • Items without original packaging or missing components
  • Clearance or final sale items (if marked as such)

How to Return Your Order

Returns require pre-authorization. Please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us for Return Authorization

Before sending anything back, you must contact our customer service team:

  • Email: info@hydroplantco.com
  • Include: Your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return
  • Response Time: We'll respond within 1-2 business days with return authorization and instructions

Important: Returns sent without authorization may be refused or delayed.

Step 2: Pack Your Return Securely

  • Use the original packaging whenever possible
  • Include all accessories, manuals, cables, and components
  • Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
  • Do not write on or damage the original product packaging

Step 3: Ship Your Return

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Ship to the address provided in your return authorization email
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • Keep your tracking number and shipping receipt
  • HydroPlant is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment

Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping is the customer's responsibility for all returns, including change of mind, wrong item ordered by customer, or sizing/compatibility issues. The only exception is if we sent you a defective or incorrect item.

Step 4: Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Inspection: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
  • Approval: You'll receive an email confirmation once your return is approved
  • Refund Processing: 5-7 business days after approval
  • Refund Method: Original payment method used at purchase
  • Amount: Full purchase price minus original shipping costs (if applicable)

Please Note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable (unless we made an error)
  • Return shipping costs are deducted from your refund if you use our prepaid label
  • Refunds appear on your statement within 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution

Defective or Incorrect Items

Received a Defective Product?

We're sorry! If your product arrived defective or doesn't work as expected:

  1. Contact us immediately at info@hydroplantco.com
  2. Include your order number and photos/video of the defect
  3. We'll provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you
  4. Upon receiving the defective item, we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund (including original shipping)

Defective Item Timeline: You must report defective items within 7 days of delivery to qualify for free return shipping.

Received the Wrong Item?

Our mistake! If we sent you the wrong product:

  1. Contact us at info@hydroplantco.com with your order number
  2. We'll provide a prepaid return label
  3. We'll ship the correct item immediately or issue a full refund
  4. You will not be charged for return shipping

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, color, or size:

  1. Return your original item following the return process above
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

Tip: To avoid being without your product, consider placing a new order before returning the original item.

Cancellations

Before Your Order Ships

Contact us immediately at info@hydroplantco.com. If we haven't processed your order yet, we can cancel it and issue a full refund.

After Your Order Ships

Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled. You'll need to receive the item and follow our return process if you no longer want it.

Gift Returns

Items purchased as gifts can be returned following the same 7-day policy. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. If you received a gift and would like to return it:

  1. Contact the gift giver for the order number
  2. Follow the standard return process
  3. The refund will be issued to the original purchaser

Gift Cards: E-gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

Warranty Information

Many of our products come with manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage and terms vary by product. Please refer to the product manual or packaging for specific warranty details.

For warranty claims:

  • Contact us at info@hydroplantco.com with your order number and description of the issue
  • Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period specified by the manufacturer
  • We'll guide you through the warranty claim process

Note: Warranty coverage is separate from our 7-day return policy and may offer longer protection for defects.
