Most grow lights hang overhead and only reach the top leaves. The VerdaGlow stands 4 feet tall with vertical side lighting that covers the entire height of your plant. From the lowest leaves near the soil to the newest growth at the top, everything gets light. It is perfect for fiddle leaf figs, palms, bird of paradise, rubber plants, and large monsteras.
How bright is this light? Will it be too bright for my living room?

How do I assemble the VerdaGlow? Do I need tools?

The VerdaGlow is designed for simple, tool free setup. You simply connect the light to the tripod stand, and it clicks into place. Plug the cord into the wall, and you are ready to grow. If the base ever feels loose, an included hex wrench lets you tighten the screws easily, but no tools are required for initial assembly.
What is the foot switch for?
The foot switch lets you turn the light on and off without bending down.
It is a simple convenience feature. When your hands are full of watering cans or pruning shears, you can tap the switch with your toe to control the light. No fumbling. No bending. Just easy on and off as you walk by.
How many plants can one VerdaGlow light?
One VerdaGlow can light a small collection of plants around it.
Because the light is vertical and casts light sideways, it illuminates plants in a circle around the stand. You can place several medium to large pots around the base, and they will all receive beneficial light. For a dense jungle of many plants, you may want multiple lights, but for most home collections, one VerdaGlow covers a beautiful corner beautifully.
What is PPFD and why does it matter?
PPFD measures how much usable light actually reaches your plant.
Think of it as the plant's food delivery. Higher PPFD means more photosynthetically active light landing on the leaves. Is the stand adjustable? Can I make it shorter?
The stand is fixed at 4 feet and is not adjustable in height.
